Since its shorter than her other dishes i put it inside an old lunch box that has a cool pack I can keep the water cold with and it raises it up to the height of her food bowls. The water comes out really fast and I dont think its adjustable, but there is no noise or splashing. Its super quiet. Again my cat loves it and she hasn’t loved any other fountains that i bought recently. So try it out.
